Treasures of River Exe

Alright, so you're on the hunt for some sweet loot on the River Exe – specifically, the two pieces of Saint George's legendary armor. The game tells you these are gonna be in the bigger military spots, so don't bother checking out those little monasteries or camps. You'll be looking for the Saint George's Cape and the Saint George's Tower Shield. The shield itself is pretty distinctive, big with a red cross on it, so you can't miss it when you spot it.

Now, here's a heads-up: the armor pieces spawn randomly. You might have to run the River Exe a couple of times to find them. On your second go-around, you'll notice places you already raided are marked as pillaged. This is actually good because it pushes you to explore new routes and find different areas to raid.

You'll also run into makeshift barricades the military puts up to slow you down. The first one you'll likely see is just past Keats Farm. Your crew will get peppered by archers if you don't deal with them first. You can shoot them down, or if you're feeling bold, just ram your longship straight through the wooden barricade to keep moving.

There are three main military locations where the armor can pop up: Eastern Fortification, Western Fortification, and the Fortress on the Exe. The Western Fortification and the Fortress on the Exe are up in the northwest, while the Eastern Fortification is closer to where you start, over in the east. If you already cleared the Eastern Fortification during the tutorial, your armor is probably chilling in one of the other two.

Oh, and one more thing – you might stumble upon a hut in a Civilian Settlement with a 'Barred' door. Don't waste arrows trying to break it down. Instead, head to the left side of the house and climb up. Look for a small, triangular opening tucked right under the roof. It's super easy to miss, but that's your way in!
