Follow this Assassin's Creed Valhalla guide to burn down Werham, rescue captured Danes at Hamtun Blockade, and progress through the 'Kingdom's End' quest.

Alright, so you've got the 'Kingdom's End' quest and need to figure out what's next. Don't worry, I'll walk you through it. First things first, you need to head over to Werham. It's a fortress located southwest of Wincestre. Make sure you go in through the northern entrance – that's where you'll find Soma. Once you get close, a cutscene will kick off. After that, you'll be inside the church in Werham, where Guthrum and King Aelfred are hashing things out. You can pick any dialogue options you like here; it won't change how the quest plays out.

After the church cutscene, your main job is to set Werham ablaze. You'll do this by chucking torches at silos and on the rooftops. Keep at it until the progress bar fills up, and don't forget to take down any Saxon warriors you run into. Once you've burned enough, meet back up with Soma at the northern entrance of Werham. From there, you'll need to head to the forest that's northeast of Werham, past a place called Wishtman's Wood. You'll bump into a bunch of Saxon warriors on the way, but with Guthrum, Soma, and some other allies by your side, they should be pretty easy to handle.

Heads up: Werham is southwest of Wincestre. Remember to approach it from the north.

When you finally reach the forest, another cutscene will play. Guthrum will ask you, Eivor, to help rescue some Danes who've been captured at Hamtun Blockade. You'll find this small camp just to the east of the forest. As you get closer, Eivor will suggest a couple of approaches: you can either go in stealthily and pick off the guards one by one, or you can call in your longship and attack with your crew. Honestly, either way isn't too tough. When you're approaching the camp from the west, make sure you grab the key that's sitting on a table under a canopy. You'll also find a Tungsten Ingot from a Gedriht elite unit around here.

With the key in your possession, keep heading east through the camp until you reach the prison area. If you're having trouble spotting it, use Odin's Sight – it'll pinpoint the exact location. Once you free the Danes who are trapped under the tower in the western part of the camp, you'll need to shoot the link on the ladder. This will let you get out and allow the Danes to make their escape. After you've freed all the Danes and the progress bar is full, follow Guthrum out of the camp and then chat with him to wrap up this quest.

Just so you know: Hamtun Blockade is located just east of the forest camp.
