Alright, let's get this done! We're diving into the 'Closing the Vault' quest in Assassin's Creed Valhalla. First up, we need to meet up with Ljufvina in Jorvik's Royal Hall. She's got some intel, so chat with her and then follow her over to the Archives.

Once you're in the Archives, you'll need to do some snooping. Use Odin's Sight to highlight important items. Keep an eye out for Hjorr's desk – there's a hidden entrance behind it! You'll need to break through a wooden barricade to get in. Inside, inspect the wine at the very end. This is a big clue: it suggests one of the four council members might be planning a poisoning, which sets up the whole Yuletide feast scenario.

Next, we're heading to the Yuletide feast. Follow Ljufvina from the Archives through Jorvik to the feast, which is happening near the Jorvik Theatre to the south. When you get there, you'll need to chat with Ljufvina again, and then go talk to each of the four council members. Your job here is to look for any hints or signs that point to who 'The Vault' might be. You can talk to them all if you want to gather more info, or if you're feeling confident, you can head back to Ljufvina when you think you know who it is.

Now, here's the kicker: even if you think you've figured it out, the game's going to play out a certain way. When you're ready to make your accusation, just tell Ljufvina. Don't stress too much about picking the 'wrong' person, because a cutscene will play, and Audun will reveal himself as The Vault anyway. After that dramatic reveal, you'll have to take down Audun and any of his remaining warriors. Once the fight's over, confirm the kill on Audun to trigger another cutscene.

Following the scene, you'll need to regroup with Ljufvina and Hjorr. They'll be waiting for you to the east. Stick with them and follow them back to the Royal Hall.

Finally, as you approach Ricsige in the Royal Hall, another cutscene will kick off. Ricsige will be briefed on everything that's gone down, and then he'll ask you, Eivor, to make a choice: who gets the silver? The merchants or Halfdan? Honestly, no matter which way you go, there aren't any huge consequences that will mess up your game. However, we usually recommend giving the silver to the merchants. If you give it to Halfdan for his war efforts, he'll mention later on that the silver could have been used for something more important. It's a small detail, but it adds a bit of flavor to the story.
