A Skald's Lament

Head southeast of Alcestre Monastery to find a skald near a camp. He's a bit unwell, so your job is to follow him and make sure he doesn't get into trouble.

As you follow him, he'll eventually approach a camp full of murderers. Before he walks right into them, get your bow ready! Take out as many of the enemies as you can from a distance. This will make the upcoming fight much easier.

Your main goal here is to keep the skald alive. Focus your attacks on any murderers who get too close to him. Don't worry too much about your own health; if you need arrows, you can grab them from tents nearby, and there are cloudberry bushes around if you need to heal up.

Once all the murderers are defeated, the skald will fall asleep. Now, you need to carry him back to his tent. The mystery marker should still be visible, guiding you back.

When you arrive back at the tent, place the skald on the ground and speak to the woman there to complete the mystery.
