Settlement Levels & Buildings

Learn about Ravensthorpe settlement levels and buildings in Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Discover how to upgrade your settlement, find resources, and construct essential buildings.

Ravensthorpe settlement can be upgraded through 6 distinct levels: Encampment, Colony, Hamlet, Borough, Village, and Town. Each level signifies growth and increased renown for the Raven clan.

You can track your settlement's progress by hovering over Ravensthorpe on the world map or by using your raven while in the settlement. To increase your settlement level, you must construct new buildings like the Blacksmith, Trading Post, or Fishing Hut. These constructions require Supplies and Raw Materials.

Where to Find Supplies & Raw Materials:

The primary sources for Supplies and Raw Materials are raiding monasteries and abbeys, which contain large chests requiring multiple crew members to open. These chests typically yield at least 20 Raw Materials. Supplies can be found in civilian settlements, monasteries, abbeys, and farmsteads. Maps from the Cartographer can reveal minor treasure locations, but using Odin’s Sight during exploration is often sufficient. Completing story arcs in pledged territories also provides these resources. You can check which territories offer raw materials upon completion by hovering over them on the alliance map accessed via Randvi in the longhouse.

Ravensthorpe Settlement Buildings:

As your settlement grows, more building options become available, and some existing buildings can be upgraded to enhance their properties, such as improving Feast Buffs by upgrading farms. Each building serves a purpose, with some being more beneficial in the early game.

Level 1 - Encampment Buildings:

• Longhouse: The clan's center of operations. Here you can speak with Randvi to pledge to new territories and access quest arcs. You can also track settlement progress, read letters, and use your living quarters to sleep, which functions like meditation to cycle between day and night.
• Blacksmith: Gunnar’s Blacksmith allows you to enhance gear from Fine to Superior, Flawless, and Mythical using Carbon, Nickel, and Tungsten Ingots. Upgrading gear improves its appearance, adds rune slots (up to 3), and enhances base stats like attack, speed, crit, stun, and defenses, making Eivor more powerful.
• Hidden Ones Bureau: Provides access to the ‘Order’ tab in your menus, allowing you to track your progress in identifying and eliminating members of the Order of Ancients. Clues found during exploration reveal member locations, which can then be tracked on the map. This menu also provides details on the hierarchy, suggested power level, clues, and backstory of Order members. You can also supply Hytham here.
