Walkthrough

    First, find and kill Kjotve’s scouts in the hills southwest of Fornburg.

    Read the note in their camp for context.

    Return to the docks in Fornburg to inform Sigurd.

    After a cutscene, board your ship with Sigurd and Basim.

    Sail northwest out of the fjord, then southwest towards Nottfall.

    Prepare for a raid as you approach the shoreline.

    Once landed, raise your shield to block arrows and advance into the settlement.

    Your primary objective is to burn all the supplies. Use your bow to shoot fire pots or throw a flaming torch at them. Be cautious of subsequent explosions.

    The supplies are located:

    Immediately east and west of the shoreline, on either side of the first house.

    Directly behind the first house.

    At the back of the settlement, to the southwest.

    Directly in front of the southernmost central building at the back of Nottfall.

    Loot Nottfall before meeting the new arrivals:

    Find a treasure chest in the first central house from the shore.

    Find another treasure chest in the house immediately southeast of the first. Enter this house through the open window from the northeast. Use Odin’s Vision if needed.

    Make your way southeast to where you destroyed the second-to-last supply stack.

    Enter the small cave and jump over the barricade to collect the Book of Knowledge containing the melee ability: Throwing Axe Fury.

    Equip the ability from your inventory.

    Proceed to the docks to meet the new arrivals.

    A cutscene will introduce Harald Fairhair.

    Engage in the dialogue; your choices do not affect the outcome.

    The quest will complete after the dialogue.
