Chipping Away

Help the Fyrd: Find and assist three groups of fyrd warriors. The first is northeast of Buckingham at Thaerelea Ruins, where you’ll fight Saxon soldiers including Yeomen and Skirmishers. The second is southwest of Buckingham, where you’ll defend against a small patrol. The third is southeast of Buckingham, where you’ll help defeat attacking Saxon soldiers.

Destroy Supply Carts: Locate and destroy three supply carts in a camp southeast of the Ruined Tower. Scout with your raven and use Odin’s Sight to find guards and the carts. You’ll encounter another Skirmisher here. Alternatively, you can find more supply carts at Cyne Belle Castle, but this area is heavily guarded and not required for the quest.

Kill the Flagbearer in Oxeneforda: Travel to Oxeneforda, southwest of Buckingham. Your main objective is to defeat the Standard Bearer. Target their weak points on the right arm and left foot, or use high-damage abilities.

Find the Unique Armor and Ability: In Oxeneforda, locate the unique armor, Magister’s Trousers, and the Thor’s Vengeance ability. The armor is in the main church tower; climb the eastern wall, shoot the decorated window, enter, and navigate past barricades to find the chest. For the ability, find a key in the church tower’s second floor by moving a barricade, then use the key to open a chapel to the north containing a Book of Knowledge.
