The Son of Jorvik

Follow this Assassin's Creed Valhalla walkthrough to race Faravid to Jorvik, find Hjorr's favorite alehouse, and help convince Ricsige to approve Halfdan's plan.

Alright, so you've reached the point where you need to deal with Faravid and get things moving in Jorvik. First things first, find Faravid. He'll be hanging out at a camp in the Wolds. Once you've found him, chat with him – there's a little scene that plays out. You'll get a few dialogue choices, but honestly, pick whatever feels right, it doesn't change the outcome.

After you're done talking, it's time to race! Hop on your horse, or grab one nearby if you don't have yours handy, and get ready to speed your way to Jorvik with Faravid. It's a straight shot to the city.

Once you arrive in Jorvik, just follow Faravid. He'll lead you straight to the Royal Hall. As soon as you step inside, another cutscene will kick off. During this scene, you'll have to make a choice: do you tell Ricsige that Halfdan knows about Faravid's plans, or do you keep it quiet and say he doesn't know? Again, don't stress too much about this choice; no matter what you pick, the end result is the same.

When that scene wraps up, your next objective is to track down Hjorr. He's located in the south part of Jorvik. Hjorr is the guy who can help you get some forged documents to make Ricsige believe Halfdan is on board with the attack plan.

Now, to find Hjorr's favorite watering hole, just head directly south from the Royal Hall. Keep an eye out and use your raven or Odin's Sight to pinpoint the alehouse. When you get there, you'll see Hjorr is in a bit of a pickle, getting into it with some of the locals. You'll need to jump in and help him and Ljufvina fend them off. After you've sorted out the scuffle, join Ljufvina for a drink inside.

Once you've had a moment with Ljufvina, head back outside to find Hjorr. A cutscene will start, and during it, the forged document will be presented to Ricsige. He'll accept it, and things will move forward. You'll have a few more dialogue options here, but just like before, they don't really change anything significant. After this scene, the quest will wrap up.
