Scorched Earth

Complete the Scorched Earth quest in Assassin's Creed Valhalla by helping Soma burn Fulke's supplies in Crawleah. Includes tips for finding loot.

Alright, so you've just finished up the 'Arrive Unexpected' quest, and now it's time for 'Scorched Earth.' Soma's ready to help us mess with Fulke's supplies over in Crawleah, so we need to head there to kick things off.

You'll find Soma chilling just west of Crawleah, hiding out in some bushes. When you chat with her, she'll give you a choice: go in guns blazing with a full-on charge, or have the archers provide support from a distance. Honestly, either way, you're going into the town to set it ablaze. The only real difference is that if you go with the archers, there won't be quite as many enemy soldiers running around as you're doing your burning.

Here's the cool part: unlike that time in Guildford, your buddies will actually help you out by burning houses and supply carts this time around. Your main job is to just move through the town, taking out any Saxon soldiers and bandits you run into, while also helping your allies by tossing torches at those supply carts and buildings. You gotta keep at it until that progress bar fills up completely – that's how you know the quest is done.

Pro Tip: Before you dip out of Crawleah, make sure to swing by the Crawleah Warehouse in the southern part of town. There's a Treasure Hoard Map and a Nickel Ingot stashed inside that are totally worth grabbing. The key to the chest? You'll find it on the poor soul hanging from the tree just outside the warehouse.
