Walkthrough

    Optional: Raid Soar River Camp (northwest of Ledecestre) for supplies and silver, and Sudwella Monastery (south of Templebrough) for materials.

    Speak with Sigurd in the small camp northwest of Sudwella Monastery. He will ask you to find Lady Aethelswith inside Templebrough Fort.

    Enter Templebrough Fort through the docks area at the westernmost point, avoiding the main gates.

    Engage the guards at the docks, prioritizing the elite "Standard Bearer" with its shield and healing abilities. Use special abilities like Throwing Axe Fury or Harpoon Impalement, or dodge behind it for attacks.

    Eliminate archers on the walls to the northwest and southwest.

    Proceed southeast into the fort and take out the Arbalist on the battlements. Use cover and target its weak points during reloads. Loot the Arbalist for a Carbon Ingot.

    Head southeast towards a tower, then northeast to the barracks.

    From the northeast side of the barracks, shoot the link holding a net of rocks to drop them on guards below.

    Enter the barracks, defeat the remaining guards, and collect the Book of Knowledge in the southwestern corner to obtain the Piercing Shot ability.

    Head southeast down the steps into the barracks depths. You will find a decoy servant instead of Lady Aethelswith.

    Return to the docks area (northwest from the barracks).

    Find a boat and row towards the quest marker.

    Upon reaching the shore, defeat the two Skirmishers and two lesser guards.

    Tie up Lady Aethelswith, pick her up, and place her in the boat.

    Row to Sigurd in the camp to the northeast to complete the quest.

    Before leaving, find a treasure chest at the northwesternmost point of Templebrough Fort containing the unique armor piece, the Huntsman Cloak.
Tips
  • Sigurd may expose you to guards, making stealth difficult. A direct assault is often more practical.
  • Swiftly kill any guard that spots you to prevent alerting others.
  • Use special abilities to quickly defeat challenging enemies like the Standard Bearer.
  • The Arbalist has a long reload time, providing an opportunity to attack its weak points.
  • Use the environment, such as the net of rocks, to your advantage against groups of enemies.
