Bleeding The Leech

Speak with Erke by the docks south of the Temple of Sulis Minerva to start the quest.

Follow the contact who provides a lead. Use Odin’s Sight near the bridge to find a crate to hide behind.

After the cutscene, follow the contact through Lunden, keeping a safe distance to avoid being spotted.

The contact will reach Bodilsburg Garrison. Enter stealthily, keeping your cloak on and avoiding guards. Climb walls to reach the rooftops for a better vantage point.

Use Odin’s Sight on the roof to locate the building the contact entered, southeast of the garrison entrance.

You can sneak in or fight guards. For stealth, use rooftops and tall grass. A haystack near the building can be used to lure and assassinate a guard after whistling. Alternatively, shoot the guard from the rooftops.

Inside, you will encounter Oija. You can threaten him, charm him (requires Charisma level 2), or claim to be a member of the Order of Ancients. Claiming to be a member is the only way to avoid conflict and find The Leech without killing Oija.

If you fight Oija, he will be alerted and fight like a War-Band Chief. After Oija is dealt with, the garrison will be alerted. You can fight them or flee.

If Oija is killed, he drops a Tool Order note revealing The Leech's location at the nearby forum, northwest of Bodilsburg Garrison.

Enter the forum courtyard and make your way to the building at the northern end, assassinating guards in the narrow corridors.

Inside, you will find The Leech, revealed to be Sister Frideswid, a member of the Order of Ancients, along with a Woe-Bringer. Attempt to assassinate Frideswid before being seen.

If spotted, Frideswid will flee to the courtyard. Hunt her down and kill her. You will need to fight her, a Woe-Bringer, a War-Band Chief, a Blood-Vikingr, and archers on the rooftops.

After all enemies are dead, confirm the kill of Frideswid to trigger a cutscene.

Return to Erke at the docks behind the Governor’s Villa to complete the quest. You will have a choice to burn or keep Frideswid’s book, which has no significant story implication.
