All is Darkness

Once per day, the Tortured Crusader may smite an enemy as a swift action. The Crusader adds half her Wisdom modifier to attack rolls and her class level to damage rolls until the enemy dies. The attack bypasses any DR the foe might possess and the Paladin also gains a +4 deflection bonus to AC against attacks made by the target of the smite.

At 5th level and every 5 levels thereafter, the Crusader gains an additional use of this ability (max 5/day at 20th level).

Self-Sufficient

A Tortured Crusader gains 3 skill points per level and bonus combat feats at 2nd, 8th, 12th and 16th levels. Her lay on hands ability and auras do not affect others.

Torment

A Tortured Crusader uses Wisdom for spellcasting and her lay on hands ability.

Second Chance

At 2nd level a Tortured Crusader can restore 1d6 damage per two class levels as a swift action. This ability can only heal her own wounds and she can use this ability a number of times per day equal to half her class level + her Wisdom modifier. She can convert two uses of this ability into an additional smite.

From 8th level, she restores 1d8 damage per two class levels and at 15th level, the healing is maximised.

Alone in the Dark

From 2nd level, a Tortured Crusader gains a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls and a +1 bonus to AC for 1 minute whenever an ally within 50' drops to 0 HP.

Final Justice

At 11th level, a Tortured Crusader can expend two uses of her smite ability to double the bonus damage. The duration of the effect is reduced to 1 minute.

Unbroken Paragon

At 20th level, a Tortured Crusader gains three additional uses of her smite and lay on hands abilities. When she smites an enemy, the target must make a Fortitude save (DC = 30 + WIS) or be stunned for 2d4 rounds. In addition, when making a full attack, she gains an additional attack at full BAB. This attack stacks with Haste and weapons with the speed ability.
