AFK Arena

Upon launching AFK Arena for the first time, you'll be greeted with a brief cinematic introducing the world of Esperia and the looming threat of the Hypogeans. After this, you'll be prompted to choose a server. While server choice doesn't significantly impact gameplay, it's often best to pick a newer server for a more even playing field in competitive modes, or an older, more established server if you prefer to join an existing community.

Next, you'll be asked to link your account. It's highly recommended to link your account to a Google Play, Apple ID, or Facebook account immediately. This safeguards your progress and allows you to transfer your game data between devices. Skipping this step can lead to loss of progress if your device is lost or damaged. The initial tutorial will then guide you through your first few battles and hero summons.

The Tavern is where you'll acquire new heroes to bolster your roster. There are several types of summons:

• Common Hero Scrolls: Used for summoning common and rare heroes. While common heroes are mostly fodder, rare heroes are essential for ascending your elite and elite+ heroes.
• Elite Hero Scrolls: Guarantees an Elite hero or better. These are your primary source of powerful heroes.
• Faction Scrolls: Allows you to choose a specific faction (Lightbearer, Mauler, Wilder, Graveborn) to summon from, increasing your chances of getting heroes from that faction.
• Companion Points: Earned by having friends in-game, these can be used for free summons.
• Diamonds: The premium currency, used for 10x summons which offer a guaranteed Elite hero.

It's generally recommended to save your Diamonds for 10x summons to maximize your chances of acquiring strong heroes. Focus on building a balanced team with heroes from different factions to take advantage of faction bonuses.

The Arcane Labyrinth is a roguelike dungeon that resets every 48 hours. You navigate through a series of battles, choosing different paths and collecting 'Relics' that provide temporary buffs to your team. Each run consists of three floors, with a boss battle at the end of each floor. You can revive fallen heroes using 'Dura's Tears' or by visiting 'Fountain of Vitality' nodes.

Strategy: Prioritize relics that synergize with your main damage dealers or provide strong defensive buffs. Look for 'Wagon' nodes to swap out heroes or 'Mystic Starlight' nodes for powerful temporary buffs. Always aim to clear all three floors for the maximum rewards, including Labyrinth Tokens, which are used in the Labyrinth Store to purchase specific Elite heroes like Shemira or Arthur.
