The Shifter is a martial class focused on transforming into animal forms to gain enhanced natural attacks and abilities. It requires the Last Sarkorians DLC.

Primary Attributes: Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, and Wisdom.

Key Features:

• Full Attack Bonus (BAB) progression.
• 6 Hit Points (HP) per level.
• High Fortitude and Reflex saving throws, low Will saving throws.
• Wildshape ability allowing transformation into animal forms.
• Enhanced natural attacks through various aspects.
• 3 skill points per level.
• Alignment must be within one step of Neutral.

Class Skills: Athletics, Mobility, Stealth, Lore (Nature), Perception.

Shifter Level Progression and Abilities

The Shifter gains feats at levels 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, and 19. Special abilities are gained at various levels, including Shifter Aspect, Shifter Claws, Defensive Instinct, Track, Woodland Grace, Major Form, Shifter's Fury, and Chimeric Aspects.

Shifter Proficiencies

Proficient with all simple weapons, light armor, medium armor, and shields.

Shifter Aspect

At 1st level, Shifters can assume a minor animal form for a number of minutes per day equal to 3 + Shifter level. This is a swift action to assume and a free action to end.

From 4th level, Shifters can assume a major animal form for one hour at a time (permanent with the Master Shapeshifter mythic ability). This can be done a number of times per day equal to Shifter level + Wisdom modifier. Assuming a major form is a standard action, and cancels any assumed minor forms.

At 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20th levels, the Shifter gains another aspect.

Available Aspects:

• Bear Aspect: Grants Constitution bonuses, scent, bite, and claw attacks with grabber and improved natural attack abilities. At higher levels, gains Awesome Blow.
• Boar Aspect: Grants Fortitude save bonuses, speed, scent, and gore attacks with powerful charge and Awesome Blow. At higher levels, gains +1 HP per Shifter level.
• Dinosaur Aspect: Grants initiative bonuses, speed, scent, bite, talon, and claw attacks with pounce and improved natural attack abilities. At higher levels, gains a dodge bonus to AC and movement does not provoke attacks of opportunity.
• Horse Aspect: Grants Endurance feat and speed bonuses. In major form, gains speed, scent, hoof attacks, and deals double damage when charging or attempting an overrun. At higher levels, movement does not provoke attacks of opportunity and gains Overrun as a bonus feat.
• Lizard Aspect: Grants Reflex save bonuses, speed, scent, and bite attacks with grabber ability. At higher levels, gains improved natural attack with bite attacks.
• Mammoth Aspect: Grants Strength bonuses, scent, gore, and slam attacks. Gains a natural armor bonus to AC and the overrun ability. At higher levels, gains Bull Rush feat and increased Strength and natural armor bonuses.
• Spider Aspect: Grants a dodge bonus to AC, tremorsense, web special attack, and bite attack. At higher levels, gains a racial bonus to Perception.
