Special Abilities:

  • Spontaneous Summoning: A Beast Tamer can cast a Summon Nature's Ally spell of equivalent level in place of an equivalent-level spell.
  • Beast Call: A Beast Caller can cast Summon Nature's Ally I as a spell-like ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + her Charisma modifier. This is a standard action, and summoned creatures remain for 1 minute per level. At 3rd level and every two levels thereafter, the power increases by 1 level (maximum Summon Nature's Ally IX at 17th level).
  • Inspire Ferocity: A Beast Tamer uses her performance to inspire animal companions and summoned allies, granting them a +1 morale bonus to saves against charm and fear effects and +1 competence bonus to attack and damage rolls. This increases to +2 at 5th level, +3 at 11th level, and +4 at 17th level. At 10th level, affected allies gain the effect of the Magic Fang spell. All natural attacks count as though they were silver and cold iron. At 14th level, attacks by affected allies count as if they were adamantine. Finally, at 18th level, affected allies gain the effects of the Greater Magic Fang spell.

Beast Tamer Bonus Spells:

The Beast Tamer gains bonus nature-related spells starting from 2nd level:

  • 2nd level: Magic Fang
  • 5th level: Aspect of the Bear
  • 8th level: Greater Magic Fang
  • 11th level: Aspect of the Wolf
  • 14th level: Animal Growth
  • 17th level: Primal Regression
