Detailed Abilities

Font of Power

An Eldritch Font gains one additional spell slot for each spell level they can cast. However, the number of spells of each level they can prepare each day is reduced by 1. If this reduction results in zero prepared spells of a certain level, the Font can still cast spells of that level, but these must be lower-level spells enhanced by Metamagic.

Eldritch Surge

As a swift action, an Eldritch Font can expend energy to increase their effective caster level and the DC of a spell by +2, or add +2 to their effective level when using an exploit. This ability leaves the Font fatigued, or exhausted if already fatigued. If already exhausted, the ability cannot be used.

Improved Surge

An Eldritch Font can use their Eldritch Surge ability to make two attack rolls associated with a spell and choose the better result.

Greater Surge

An Eldritch Font can use their Eldritch Surge ability to force a creature to roll its saving throw against a spell or exploit twice and take the worse result.

Bottomless Well

Once per day, as a full-round action, an Eldritch Font can prepare new spells and regain Arcane Reservoir points equal to half their character level.
