How to Unlock Young Monk's Request

To unlock Mushrooms Growing Among Poisons, just pass by Coalvale Workshop in Unicorn Cliff.

Young Monk's Request Walkthrough

To complete Young Monk's Request, you first have to complete Trembling Woods, otherwise you will keep getting knocked out by the Shai.

Talk to the Young Monk
Speak with the Young Monk in Coalvale Workshop near the well. He will tell you about a Mystical Pine Mushroom.
Go to Pororin Forest
Head over to the Pororin Forest and look for the Mystical Pine Mushroom. You can find it in a cave under a tree. You will find its entrance near a flower post.
Note: It is required to complete the Trembling Woods quest first to gain access to the village. You won't be able to enter the cave where the mushroom is if you don't gain the favor of the Shai yet.
Obtain the Mystical Pine Mushroom
Once you get inside, head to the deepest part of the cave and grab the Mystical Pine Mushroom on the ground.
There will be Red Mushrooms that will knock you out inside the cave, but they won't damage you. You can destroy them by hitting them with a range weapon, like a bow.
