- 1Find a Way to Enter the Spire of Frost:
- From the Eye of Ice Abyss Nexus, use Blinding Flash to eliminate distracting floating enemies with force fields.
- 2Head up the stairs to the spire. Use Turning Slash or Charged Shot to break the ice encasing the first frozen stone lantern. Light it to unlock the spire's entrance. A common chest is in an icy alcove to the right. This counts as the first lantern.
- 3Inside the spire, go under the stairs to open a chest containing the unique weapon Frozen Anguish and a Refined Palmar Pill. Ascend the spire on the staircase.
- Ascend the stairs to find the second frozen stone lantern. Break its ice with Turning Slash or Charged Shot before freezing, then light it.
- Continue upwards to a dead end. Go outside through the window and ascend the spire. Pull an Abyss Cell from the wall with Axiom Force on the way. Find the third frozen stone lantern ahead.
- At the end of the staircase, pull another Abyss Cell from the ice with Axiom Force. Slip through the window to the left where the fourth stone lantern is.
- Follow the staircase to the top until you reach a dead end with the fifth stone lantern.
- Leave through the window to find the sixth stone lantern along the stairs ahead.
- Run to the very end of the staircase and enter the spire again through a window. Light the seventh and last stone lantern to complete the puzzle and liberate the area.
- After a short cutscene, climb the stairs.

- Equip the Frostcursed Armor Set for resistance to ice.
- Standing near a frozen lantern causes gradual freezing; mash buttons to break free.
