Solve the Monolith Crown puzzle in Crimson Desert by manipulating lasers within a cube. Requires Story Chapter 5 completion and travel to Crow's Nest.
The Monolith Crown puzzle is an Abyss Restoration Challenge in Crimson Desert. You must have completed Story Chapter 5 to access it. Open the map and press / Mouse Wheel to view the sky map, then locate the Triangle Ring in the center. Travel to Crow’s Nest, the location where you fought the Crowcaller boss at the end of Chapter 5.
From the Crow’s Nest fast travel point, proceed forward past the tree and turn right to find a skybridge. Activate the skybridge by shooting Axiom Force ( / TAB key) at it and rotating it until it glows blue. Continue through the teleporter at the end of the path, which will transport you to Monolith Crown.
Upon arriving at Monolith Crown, perform 3 midair Force Palms (jump and / Mouse Wheel) and glide over the wind turbines. Activate the fast travel point. It is highly recommended to make a manual save here to reload if you make a mistake during the puzzle.
In the back left corner of Monolith Crown, drop down onto the small floating island. While standing on this island, look up and use Axiom Force (hold / TAB key) on the glowing ring within the floating cube to initiate the puzzle.
The perspective will shift to a large cube with lasers. The objective is to have one laser hit each of the orange buttons on the walls. Each time you move the cube up or down, the lasers will shift downwards unless you spin the cube quickly enough.
The quickest solution sequence is as follows: UP (allow lasers to fall) > UP (allow lasers to fall) > UP (allow lasers to fall) > LEFT > LEFT > UP (quickly, do not let lasers fall) > UP (allow lasers to fall).
If you make an incorrect move, the puzzle will reset. You can reload your manual save or autosave to attempt it again.
Once all buttons are successfully struck by the cube's lasers, you will automatically exit the cube view. Return to the main area, jump up, and use a jumping Force Palm on the large cog located on the floor. This action will complete the Abyss repair, and you will receive an artifact as a reward.
- Make a manual save before starting the puzzle.
- Execute the UP (fast) move quickly to prevent lasers from shifting.
- If you fail, reload your save to retry.
