Ritual Preparations Walkthrough — Crimson Desert

Ritual Preparations is the 106th main mission in Crimson Desert, located in the Hernand region within Chapter 8 – Blood Coronation, Sub-Chapter Ashen Steps. It requires finishing the main quest A Bond and offers no reward.

The quest description states: "On the shipwreck shore lies the wreckage of a ship that appears to have carried the foreign sisters. Investigate the surroundings." The objectives are to read the memories of the shipwreck and retrieve 3 items requested by Maegu.

At the beach, clear out enemies within the small orange search area on the minimap. In the center of the search area, hold Interact ( Triangle / Y / E ) to focus on the ground with your lantern. Look for blue ghost outlines and the “Learning in Progress” popup. Once found, equip the Visione helmet by opening the menu ( Options / Menu / Esc ), selecting the bottom icon, or by using the Visione from your inventory (click X / Spacebar) and choosing Demeniss > Memory of the Kidnapped Witches. After viewing the memory, a new search area will appear around the shipwrecks.

Retrieve the item Maegu requested (x3)

Find 3 of Maegu’s hidden items within the beach search area:

Maegu Item #1: Talisman
Located in the sand in front of the shipwreck at the northern edge of the search area.
Maegu Item #2: Censer
Found underneath the large wooden shipwreck with a locked front door. Use Nature’s Grasp on the shipwreck ( L1 + R1 / LB + RB / Q + R ) and press Dodge / roll ( Circle / B / Space ) to freeze it in the air. Quickly retrieve the Censer from the center underneath. Entering the ship through a hole beneath it before it falls can yield loot and access to the locked door.
Maegu Item #3: Bells
Located in the sand at the southern edge of the search area on the beach.

Completing these steps finishes the Ritual Preparations mission in Crimson Desert.
