Bared Fang Walkthrough

Follow the Bared Fang walkthrough for Crimson Desert, guiding you through eavesdropping on villagers and making contact with the secret organization.

The Bared Fang is the 87th main mission in Crimson Desert, starting in the Hernand region during Chapter 7 – Homecoming, Sub-Chapter Dawn Mist. It requires finishing the previous main quest, Trust Lost, and offers no reward.

Objectives:

1. Eavesdrop on Beighen villagers’ conversation
2. Find a way to make contact with the secret organization
3. Find a clue about the underground storage
4. Find a clue about the mysterious faction
5. Find a clue about the leader of the Blue Fangs

To eavesdrop on Beighen villagers and find a clue about the underground storage, go to the quest marker on the east edge of Beighen village. Behind the red hut, lean against a wall using Triangle / Y / E and hold Circle / B / Space to aim at the people you want to eavesdrop on. You must lean against the outer wall of the red-painted barn where two men are talking. Wait for the “Learning in progress” prompt to finish. The prompt to lean against the wall will appear automatically in the bottom right corner. Do not look through the window behind the barn; lean against the side without a window.

To find a way to make contact with the secret organization, go to the quest marker in the west of the village and talk to the guard. Exhaust all dialogues and choose the “Lie” options:

1. The Truth of the Underground Storage
2. Lie – Secret Society’s Base
3. Mysterious Faction within Beighen
4. Lie – Beighen Tribe

If you miss required info, quit or pick “Truth” to get a new objective in the middle of the village.

To find a clue about the mysterious faction, go to the new quest marker in the middle of the village. Enter the empty shop/house and lean against the wall where the Triangle / Y / E prompt appears to overhear the person outside. Talk to the same guard again:

1. Mysterious Faction within Beighen
2. Lie – Blue Fangs
3. Leader of the Blue Fangs
4. Lie – Jian

Quit the dialogue, and another clue objective will appear nearby.

To find a clue about the leader of the Blue Fangs, go to the red hut a few meters away. Lean against the wall to eavesdrop on the people inside. Talk to the guard one more time:

1. Leader of the Blue Fangs
2. Lie – Torstein

This completes the objective to make contact with the secret organization. You can now go past the guards to the left of the guard and open the trapdoor in the ground. Climb down to trigger a cutscene, which finishes the Bared Fang mission in Crimson Desert.
