Spire of the Sun Walkthrough

Solve the Spire of the Sun puzzle in Crimson Desert by redirecting mirrors outside and inside the tower to open the Abyss Gate.

The Spire of the Sun is a Spire Challenge Puzzle encountered during the main quest 'Unwavering Steps' in Chapter 9: The Sage of the Desert. To solve it, you must manipulate mirrors to direct light beams to specific crystals.

Step 1: Redirect Mirrors East of Spire

Locate the mirrors east of the Spire. Adjust the single corner mirror that is not illuminated to direct light towards the crystal, which then redirects it to the mirrors south of the tower.

Step 2: Redirect Mirrors South of Spire

Follow the light beam to the mirrors south of the Spire. Pay attention to the grooves on the floor, as mirrors can only be moved within these lines. This puzzle requires careful alignment of multiple mirrors.

1. Move the first illuminated mirror sideways to direct light to the middle mirror.
2. The middle mirror will redirect light. On the side where the light hits, move the corner mirror to catch it, redirecting it to a stationary mirror.
3. This stationary mirror will send the light to the opposite side. Move the next mirror on that side to catch the light.
4. Next to the previous mirror, move the following mirror sideways to catch the light and position it down the middle groove, close to the previous mirror. This redirects light towards the middle mirror again.
5. Finally, move the last untouched mirror in the back corner to catch the light from the middle mirror. This will direct it to the stationary mirror in the back row, which then shines it at the crystal in the front row. Adjust this mirror slightly if the light misses the crystal.

Once the front crystal is lit, the tower entrance opens.

Step 3: Redirect All Mirrors Inside Spire until Light reaches Crystal on Top Floor

Enter the Spire and proceed upwards. Interact with each mirror sequentially to redirect the light beam further up the tower. Continue this process on each floor until the light reaches the mirror on the top floor.

From the top floor mirror, align the beam to hit the crystal on the ceiling. This action will cause a final staircase to descend. Ascend the staircase and step onto the elevator to reach the very top, where you can enter the Abyss Gate.
