There are 10 Horse Challenges in Crimson Desert, part of the Mastery Category. Finishing all Horse Challenges unlocks the Tamer of Legends trophy & achievement. For most Horse challenges, you need to complete the entire requirement without getting off your horse, or the challenge resets.

Harmonious Hooves 1

How to Unlock: Pick up Sealed Abyss Artifact in Demeniss, at the 4-way intersection southwest of Stonewell Farm.

Challenge: Tame 2 wild horses.

How to Complete: Encounter wild horses, chase them, and hold interact (Triangle / Y / E) to jump on and try to tame them. Hold the left stick in the direction their tail is pointing to tire them out, then keep them or send them to the stable. Do this with any two different horses.

Harmonious Hooves 2

How to Unlock: Pick up Sealed Abyss Artifact in Demeniss, at intersection northeast of St. Halssius’s House of Healing.

Challenge: Hunt 5 animals within 5 minutes while riding a horse.

How to Complete: While on your horse, kill 5 animals using the bow while riding.

Harmonious Hooves 3

How to Unlock: Pick up Sealed Abyss Artifact in Demeniss, at intersection east of Ironwood Farm.

Challenge: While riding a horse, defeat 20 enemies within 5 minutes without stopping.

How to Complete: Go to large enemy camps or fortresses, ride around on your horse without stopping fully, and kill 20 enemies with melee or ranged attacks. Do not get knocked off your horse.

How to Unlock: Pick up Sealed Abyss Artifact in Hernand, on the side of the road in the forest north of Sunset Valley.

Challenge: Go to Sunset Valley to Varnia on horseback in 40 minutes.

How to Complete: Ride from Sunset Valley (south corner of Hernand) to Varnia (north corner of Crimson Desert region) in under 40 minutes. Ensure your horse is level 5 for maximum speed and stamina. You can increase horse level by riding and petting it. Do not get off your horse, or the challenge resets. Legendary Horse Royler is recommended for its high starting stamina and speed.

Harmonious Hooves 5

How to Unlock: Pick up Sealed Abyss Artifact in Demeniss, at intersection on the west side of the fields around Springdale Farm.

Challenge: Successfully mount a horse 3 times while descending from the air.

How to Complete: While gliding, land directly on your horse from above. Do this 3 times.

Harmonious Hooves 6

How to Unlock: Pick up Sealed Abyss Artifact in Demeniss, at intersection directly east of Church of West Demeniss.

Challenge: Travel from Silvermoon Tradehouse to Vellua within 10 minutes while on horseback.

How to Complete: Travel from Silvermoon Tradehouse (southeast of Demeniss) to Vellua (south edge of Hernand) in under 10 minutes. Use shortcuts and a fully leveled horse. Legendary Horse Royler is recommended.

How to Unlock: Pick up Sealed Abyss Artifact in Hernand, at third intersection directly west of THE IRONWOOD text on map.

Challenge: Ride a Priden, Brianto, Numont, and Elantrima for over 100m.

How to Complete: Ride four different types of horses for 100 meters each. Horses can be found in the wild, bought from stables, or stolen. The stable south of Delesyia sells a Priden. Legendary Horse Camora, Damiane, and Oongka ride Briantos. The stable in Tomaso sells a Numont. The stable north of Calphade or the stable in Pailune sell Elantrimas.

Harmonious Hooves 8

How to Unlock: Pick up Sealed Abyss Artifact in Pailune, on the road inside Ridgehunter Tannery. Clear enemies first.

Challenge: While riding a horse, ram into and subdue 30 enemies ahead within 5 minutes.

How to Complete: Charge is an ability that only certain horses have.
