The Redfox Boar is a massive, thick-skinned beast native to the Redfox Forest, known for its aggressive charging attacks and surprising speed. This makes it a challenging wildlife encounter in Crimson Desert's open world. As a beast-type enemy, it attacks relentlessly, demanding dodge-focused gameplay and punishing players who overcommit to attack combos. Hunting Redfox Boars yields valuable crafting materials for medium armor upgrades, and their charging patterns serve as excellent preparation for more difficult boss encounters.

Phases:

1. Charge Attack: The boar sprints at full speed, dealing massive damage and knockback. Dodge at the last moment.

3. Herd Aggro: Damaging one boar alerts nearby herd members. Be prepared for multiple charging boars.
4. Terrain Stun: Bait the boar into charging into large trees or rock formations. This stuns them for a significant punish window.

Strategy:

• Master the dodge-and-counter loop, focusing on attacking the boar's flank during its recovery after a charge.
• Utilize the environment by baiting the boar into charging into trees or rocks to stun it, creating a large opening for damage.
• Be aware of herd aggro; fighting multiple boars simultaneously is chaotic. Try to separate them or funnel them using terrain.
• Prioritize piercing weapons like Spears and Bows, as they bypass the boar's thick hide more effectively than other damage types.
• Resist the urge to use Poison or Bleed, as the boar's thick hide makes it highly resistant to these status effects.
• The meat dropped by Redfox Boars can be used to craft Boar Stew, a valuable mid-game consumable that provides excellent stamina regeneration.
• Farming Redfox Boars is also good practice for later, more challenging boss fights due to their predictable charge patterns.

• Redfox Boars are found roaming in grasslands and forest clearings throughout Crimson Desert, most commonly in lower-level wilderness areas, particularly in the Hernand region.
