The Words of Alustin Walkthrough

The Words of Alustin, Crimson Desert's 53rd main mission. Start in the Hernand region and read Alustin's letter.

The Words of Alustin is the 53rd main mission in Crimson Desert. You will start this quest in the Hernand region during Chapter 4 – The Price of Knowledge, under the Sub-Chapter Forbidden Knowledge. The requirement to start this quest is finishing the previous main quest, Skilled in Archery. There is no reward for completing this quest.

The quest description states: A man vanished into the crowd after a deliberate collision, leaving a small note behind. This brusque message came from Alustin, bearing an urgent plea to look into the dark emanations he sensed at Scholastone Institute.

Objectives:

1. Head to Hernand
2. Read Alustin’s letter

Head to Hernand

Go to the southern part of Hernand town. You must walk around until someone runs into you and passes you a letter. If the person doesn’t spawn, try making a manual save and reload it. You should respawn in Hernand town and should almost immediately receive the letter.

Read Alustin’s letter

Open your inventory and read the purple letter titled “Alustin’s Letter”. Click / on it and then / to zoom in on it.
