Phoenix Location

The Phoenix can be found south of the Trader’s Expanse on the map in the Crimson Desert region. There is a nearby Abyss Nexus located east of the Merchant’s Resting Place.

Obtain Leebur's Soul from Black Fang

Leebur's Soul is a key item that drops from Black Fang and gives you knowledge entries for all legendary animals as well as their locations on the map when used. This will help a lot in locating the Phoenix and other legendary animals on the map.

How to Get the Phoenix as a Pet

1. Find the Phoenix Leading a Flock of Birds
2. Shoot Down the Phoenix
3. Skin the Phoenix
4. Craft and Use the Sigil of Solidarity
5. Summon the Phoenix

1. Find the Phoenix Leading a Flock of Birds

Look around and check the sky for the Phoenix leading a couple of birds. You'll notice that the Phoenix is quite a bit larger than the flock of birds it's leading.

2. Shoot Down the Phoenix

Ready your bow and shoot down the Phoenix from the sky. It's easier to shoot it down using the Focused Charged Shot to hit it properly. Aim your bow, activate Focused Shot, mark the Phoenix, then shoot it down with a Charged Shot. This should bring the Phoenix down in one shot, but just to be sure, ready another shot in case it tries to get back up.

3. Skin the Phoenix

Approach the dead Phoenix and skin it to obtain a Phoenix Feather, among other items. This is important for crafting the Sigil of Solidarity, which allows you to summon the Phoenix as a pet.

4. Craft and Use the Sigil of Solidarity (Phoenix)

Head to a witch to craft the Sigil of Solidarity. Interact with a witch, choose the Craft Abyss Gear option, then navigate to Special Items and select the Sigil of Solidarity (Phoenix). Craft it using the Phoenix Feather you obtained earlier. After crafting it, open your inventory, go to the Treasure/Currency tab, and use the Sigil of Solidarity (Phoenix).

5. Summon the Phoenix

Navigate to the Pets tab in your inventory and summon the Phoenix. You may need to unsummon a currently active pet first to allow the Phoenix to roam the world with you.
