Heart Beyond Borders is the 9th main mission in Crimson Desert, found in the Hernand region as part of Chapter 1 – The First Encounter, Sub-Chapter Trials of Kindness. You must have finished the previous main quest, Actions Speak Louder than Words, to begin. There is no reward for completing this quest.
The quest description is: Explore the town. You might find something interesting.
Objectives:
- Speak with the child
- Return the cat to its owner
- Pick up the item the child dropped
To start, head to the marker in the Hernand region. You will find a child in a green cloak standing in a courtyard. Speak with the child using Interact (Triangle / Y / E).
Next, climb up a nearby cabin and approach the cat walking on the rooftops. Use Interact (Triangle / Y / E) when close to it to carry the cat. A cutscene will play, and you will automatically be brought back to the child.
After the cutscene, you will regain control of Kliff, kneeling next to a pendant the child dropped. Use Interact (Triangle / Y / E) to pick it up.
- Be sure to ring the bell in the tower above you, next to the roof where the cat was. This unfogs the map in the Hernand region. There are 8 bells total to unfog the full map.
