Preparations for Advance Walkthrough

Complete the Preparations for Advance main mission in Crimson Desert. Bring 200+ Grilled Meat for the upcoming battle and boss fight.

Preparations for Advance is the 113th main mission in Crimson Desert, located in the Hernand region and part of Chapter 8 – Blood Coronation. To start this quest, you must have finished the previous main quest, Resolve Amidst a Storm. There is no reward for completing this mission.

The quest description states: "The turncoats have taken controls of Thornbriar Fortress. You can feel a sense of dread in the air as the sounds of combat echo from within the walls." The main objective is to speak with the person in charge at the barracks.

Tip: A big battle and boss fight are coming up. Be sure to bring lots of Grilled Meat. 200+ Grilled Meat is recommended, better to spend some time preparing than to get stuck during the big battle and having to backtrack. Spend some time hunting animals, and buy meat from the meat vendors in Hernand and Pailune. Use the cooking pots (e.g. to right of Hernand meat vendor) to turn it into the Grilled Meat that gives +80 health each.

When you are ready, enter the soldier camp at the quest marker and approach the white tent for a cutscene. This finishes Preparations for Advance in Crimson Desert.
