Scholastone Walkthrough

Follow the Crimson Desert Scholastone walkthrough to find the hidden institute. Requires the Scholastone Uniform and visiting a goblin merchant.

Scholastone is the 54th main mission in Crimson Desert, found in Chapter 4 – The Price of Knowledge, under the sub-chapter Forbidden Knowledge. You must have finished the previous main quest, The Words of Alustin, to begin. The quest rewards you with the Scholastone Uniform.

The quest begins in the Hernand region. The description states that the secret location was nearly impossible to reach through normal means, but after changing into clothes Alustin prepared, a troll scholar revealed the way to Scholastone Institute.

Visit the fence

The fence is a goblin merchant located in Hernand. He is inside a building on the upper floor. Enter through the front door and talk to him upstairs.

Head to Scholastone

Scholastone is located south-west from Hernand town. Go to the map marker. When you reach the quest marker, climb over the mountain. You can scale tall cliffs by jumping and pressing Circle / B / Space three times in midair to use 3 Force Palms. On the other side of the mountain, drop down to the stone gate to finish this objective.

Find out Scholastone Institute’s location

Equip the “Scholastone Uniform” from your inventory. Near where you arrive, talk to the man standing in front of the stone pyramid while wearing the Scholastone Uniform. Follow him as he shows you around the area. Wait for him to finish talking when he stops at the cliffs.

Find the path to Scholastone Institute

You must continue alone towards the tall tower on the mountain. This is a long walk. As you get close to the location, the next quest will automatically start, finishing the Scholastone mission.
