The Blood Coronation Walkthrough

Follow The Blood Coronation walkthrough for Crimson Desert, investigating Duke Caliburn's old office and using the Visione helmet to find Myurdin.

The Blood Coronation is the 116th main mission in Crimson Desert, located in the Hernand region within Chapter 8 – Blood Coronation, Sub-Chapter To Demeniss. To start this quest, you must have finished the previous main quest, The Cursed Knight. There is no reward for completing this mission. The quest description is: Investigate Duke Caliburn’s old office to find out Myurdin’s whereabouts.

Objectives:

Go to the old office

Travel to the Demeniss capital and enter the large palace. Enemies will be hostile, but killing them will not affect your reputation. Avoid being grappled, as this will cause you to respawn on the roofs. Inside the castle, proceed upstairs to the 2nd floor to find the office, which resembles a banquet hall.

Read the memory on the blood coronation

In the old office, interact with the blue ghosts until the “Learning in Progress” is complete. Then, use the Visione helmet by holding Options / Menu / Esc and clicking “Memory Fragment” on the right side, or by selecting it from your inventory.

Head to the audience chamber on the ground floor

It is crucial to remain in the Helmet Visione mode. Do not exit it by pressing Circle / B / Space. Observe the ghosts and follow them downstairs to the large audience chamber where many ghosts are gathered. If you accidentally exit Visione mode, you must return to the old office upstairs and view the memory fragment again to follow the ghosts.

Listen to the nobles’ conversation in the audience chamber

Continue in Visione mode without quitting. In the audience chamber, examine the ghosts that appear brighter blue. They will display an EXAMINE prompt (Triangle / Y / E) when you look at them. There are 3 such ghosts. Afterward, you will witness a memory of a slaughter in the audience chamber, followed by a cutscene where Gabriel Caliburn attacks you. Allow him to defeat you; there is no need to fight back. A cutscene will then play, initiating the next quest where you control Damiane.
