How to Beat Hexe Marie: Follower of Darkness Boss Guide

Phases:

1. Phase 1 — Crow Teleportation: Hexe Marie dissolves into crows and reforms elsewhere. Listen for the 'crow call' sound effect (0.5 seconds before reforming) to predict her location. Position yourself centrally and dodge towards her reforming spot to maintain melee range.
2. Phase 2 — Skeleton Summoning (approx. 60% HP): Hexe Marie summons 2-3 Skeleton Warriors. Focus and eliminate skeletons within five seconds of summoning to prevent them from benefiting from her amplification aura (double damage). Use Blunt weapons for bonus damage against undead. After clearing skeletons, return to the Phase 1 crow-tracking strategy. An Observation Learning opportunity occurs during her crow teleport animation; hold the observation button to bank a technique for a shadow dash ability.
3. Phase 3 — Combined Assault (below 30% HP): Combines crow swarm attacks, skeleton summoning, and a new crow dive bomb move. Crow dives are telegraphed by shadow circles on the ground; dodge through them. Use the post-dodge window to attack. Keep Mantle of Frost active to interrupt skeleton summoning and crow teleports.
