All Duel Challenges

Complete all 5 Duel Challenges in Crimson Desert, including Steel Fist, Throne of the War God, Indomitable Will, Dragon's Fang, and Undying Knight.

There are 5 Duel Challenges in Crimson Desert, categorized under Minigames. Completing all of them, along with other Minigame sub-categories, unlocks the True Gamer trophy & achievement.

Duel 1: Steel Fist

• How to Unlock: Automatically unlocked from story in Chapter 4: The Price of Knowledge – Sub-Chapter: Daily Life – Main Quest: Disturbance at the Arena.
• Challenge: Have a win streak in the unarmed duel x3 & beat the champion.
• How to Complete: During Main Quest: Disturbance at the Arena, equip only gloves from the weapon wheel (hold ) and talk to the fight host. Win 3 fights consecutively, then win the 4th against the champion. A loss resets the streak. You can return after the main quest.
• Reward: Money, Trophy – Unarmed Duel (Furniture).

Duel 2: Throne of the War God

• How to Unlock: Win an all-out-duel match at Tashkalp. Equip bare fists to talk to the host (use D-Pad to open weapon wheel, switch to fists in the top left).
• Challenge: Have a win streak in all-out duel x3 & beat the champion.
• How to Complete: Win fights using bare fists or wrestling moves. Use the Clothesline skill (blue skill tree) to knock down opponents, then attack with quick fist attacks.
• Reward: Money, Trophy – All-Out Duel (Furniture).

Duel 3: Indomitable Will

• How to Unlock: Win a wrestling match at Scholastone Institute in Hernand. Equip bare fists to talk to the host (use D-Pad to open weapon wheel, switch to fists in the top left).
• Challenge: Have a win streak at wrestling x3 & beat the champion.
• How to Complete: Win 3 wrestling matches in a row, then win the 4th against the champ. Quitting after a win resets the streak to 3. Only wrestling moves are allowed. The skill “Clothesline” (press oun + / oun + / F + Right Click while running) deals more damage than standard grappling moves. Invest skill points into the blue “Grappling” skill to boost damage.
• Reward: Money, Trophy – Wrestling Match (Furniture).

Duel 4: Dragon’s Fang

• How to Unlock: Participate in the spearsmanship contest in Hernand, northeast of Lioncrest Manor.
• Challenge: Have a win streak in the spearmanship contest x3 & beat the champion.
• How to Complete: Equip a Spear in your secondary slot; weapons like halberds or cannons do not count. Ensure no armor with automatic effects (like Slashing Reeds) is equipped, as hitting the opponent with these effects causes a loss. Do not use Imbue Element. After winning 3 matches, face the champion, Hector the Impaler. Spears can be found from enemies, looted from the Lost & Found at Howling Hill's Provisions Keeper, or checked in your personal chest.
• Reward: Money, Trophy – Spear Duel (Furniture).

Duel 5: Undying Knight

• How to Unlock: Complete two prior quests: The Bonepit (two all-out fights) and Duel with the Emperor (one all-out fight against a strong opponent where wrestling is not allowed; focus on parrying and heavy attacks). The swordsmanship host is then available on the upper level of the arena in Tommaso.
• Challenge: Have a win streak in the swordsmanship contest x3 & beat the champion.
• How to Complete: This duel uses basic sword and shield. Opponents are not as tough as the previous all-out opponent.
• Reward: Money, Trophy – Sword Duel (Furniture).
