Aeserion's Scale Location

Find Aeserion's Scale at the Serpent Shrine in Crimson Desert. Use Kuku Pot to collect this rare material for final equipment upgrades.

Aeserion’s Scale is a crafting material in Crimson Desert used for the final upgrade refinement level 10 on any equipment, including weapons, armor, accessories, cloaks, and tools.

Aeserion’s Scale is a steel scale obtained from Aeserion, the Great Serpent. It is found exclusively at the “Serpent Shrine”, an island in the south-west corner of the Delesyia region. Glide to the island and look on the southern half for 20+ Aeserion’s Scales scattered on the floor. You must have the Kuku Pot (automatically unlocked from Chapter 4 – Main Quest: The Mysterious Pot) to collect them. Use Axiom Force to grab the Scales (hold L3 / Mouse Wheel) then press the “Seal” prompt (Triangle / Y / ‘R’ key).

After collecting, open the Kuku Pot from your inventory and click “Take Out” to transfer the Scales to your inventory. They are limited, so keep them in the Kuku Pot. If you lose your Kuku Pot, you can obtain another by sending comrades to the Expedition “Kilnden Workskhop > Kuku Pot Production” via your Greymane Camp at Howling Hill.

After visiting the Serpent Shrine, it will appear as an Expedition at your Greymane Camp on Howling Hill. You can send comrades to the Serpent Shrine expedition (under Delesyia region) to farm more Aeserion’s Scales.
