A Fresh Start Walkthrough — Crimson Desert

A Fresh Start is the 32nd main mission in Crimson Desert, starting in the Hernand region during Chapter 3 – Howling Hill. You must finish the previous main quest, First Step to Rebuilding, to begin. The mission requires you to complete the camp that will be the Greymane hub and help workers finalize construction. The reward for this quest is x5 Iron Ore.

The objectives for this mission can be completed in any order:

Move the sacks
Drive in the stakes
Push the wagon
Raise the banner

Move the sacks

Head to the middle marker. You will find 3 sacks on the floor. Pick up the sacks one by one using Interact (Triangle / Y / E) and carry them to the highlighted spot behind you. You can drop the sacks using Interact (Triangle / Y / E).

Head to the northernmost marker. On a small table, you will find a mallet. Pick it up and equip it from the item wheel by holding Menu (Options / Menu / Esc). Use the mallet with Light Attack (Square / X / Left Click) + Dodge/Roll (Circle / B / Space) to drive in all 4 stakes of the tent. Each stake requires 3 hits.

Push the wagon

Head to the second northernmost marker. At this location, you will see a wagon covered in hay, blocked by a rock. Next to the rocks is a crate with a pickaxe. Pick up the pickaxe and equip it from the item wheel with Menu (Options / Menu / Esc). Use the pickaxe to target the rocks and hit them with Light Attack (Square / X / Left Click). Destroy all 3 rocks, then get behind the wagon and push it into the tent.

Raise the banner

Head to the southernmost marker. You will see the banner on the ground. Use Nature’s Grasp (Heavy Attack (Triangle / Y / Right Click) + Dodge/Roll (Circle / B / Space) > tap Light Attack (Square / X / Left Click)) to pick up the banner and place it in the banner holder.

Completing these objectives finishes A Fresh Start in Crimson Desert.
