You can find Cats in all regions except the Crimson Desert. There are many cats in the Pororin Villages to the south near Hernand Highlands.
Cats can be tamed in one day by petting them 5 times per day for a total of 25 pets and feeding them three pieces of their favorite food, which can be Squid, Salmon, or Mackerel, depending on the variant, to reach 100 Trust.
The cats in the Pororin villages cannot be fed (as of patch 1.03), so you will need to pet them 5 times each day for 4 days to tame them.
