Crimson Desert All Cannon Challenges Guide

There are 5 Cannon Challenges in Crimson Desert, categorized under Mastery. Completing all of them unlocks the Master of Artillery trophy & achievement. These challenges require using the Hand Cannon (Blaster), which is exclusively wielded by Oongka. Oongka becomes playable temporarily at the end of Chapter 7, and permanently after completing two Faction Quests. The first challenge, Gentle Sound of Flowing River, is available in Chapter 8 and involves fishing. After this, Oongka will appear at Calphade Castle, allowing you to start the Arm Wrestling Tips/How to Distribute Strength quest, making him available for the rest of the game.

Barraging Cannon 1

How to Unlock: Pick up the Sealed Abyss Artifact on the side of the road west of Redfox Trading Post in Delesyia.
Challenge: Hit 3 enemies at once with a Hand Cannon.
How to Complete: Group at least 3 enemies together and fire the Hand Cannon. Its shots have splash damage. Charged Shots with Imbued Elements can also be used for increased damage in a larger area.
Reward: 1x Abyss Artifact, 1x Steelbane I

How to Unlock: Pick up the Sealed Abyss Artifact on the side of the road northwest of Silvermoon Tradehouse in Demeniss.
Challenge: Defeat 3 enemies with normal, Fire, Ice, Lightning, and Wind Enhanced Charged Shots.
How to Complete: Elemental damages are unlocked by completing Abyss Puzzles on flying sky islands. To unlock all elements for Elemental Charged Shot, complete 4 Abyss locations: Courtyard of Precision, Path of Trials, Tree of Slumber, and Riddle Square. Riddle Square is the final area, available from Chapter 9. The Hand Cannon's charged shot requires holding the input for a few seconds until a small flash appears at the front.
Reward: 1x Abyss Artifact, 1x Greater Destruction

How to Unlock: Pick up the Sealed Abyss Artifact at the intersection southeast of Sweetbloom Plantation in Delesyia.
Challenge: Defeat 10 enemies within 30 seconds using a hand cannon without destroying any surrounding objects.
How to Complete: Defeat 10 enemies within 30 seconds using the Hand Cannon without destroying any objects. You can lure enemies away from destructible items to a road or field. Objects can be destroyed before defeating the first enemy, but not after.
Reward: 1x Abyss Artifact, 1x Greater Swift

Barraging Cannon 4

How to Unlock: Pick up the Sealed Abyss Artifact on the side of the road leading south from Windrose Farm, southeast of the 'N' in DEWHAVEN on the map text, in Delesyia.
Challenge: Defeat a mounted enemy from a distance of 30 meters or more using a hand cannon.
How to Complete: Defeat an enemy mounted on a horse in one shot with the Hand Cannon. Ice Elemental Charged Shot (unlocked from Abyss: Path of Trials) may be required. Recommended locations include Qudim-jahr Camp (south of Great Gate of Urdavah) where two horse-mounted enemies patrol counterclockwise southeast of the camp. Save before attempting and stand to the left of a rock. If it doesn't unlock, run away and teleport back to the Abyss Nexus, then return to respawn the enemies. Another option is Hernand, northwest of Bloodsteel North Gate, at an intersection with two horseback enemies. Shooting from north of the intersection should provide enough distance. These may not respawn by warping. A final option is Thornbriar Fortress after clearing it; make friendly NPCs hostile and shoot soldiers on horseback from a distance.
