Seed of Unease Walkthrough

Follow the Seed of Unease walkthrough for Crimson Desert. Track the Reed Devil using your lantern and examine the altar in Reedfield Graves.

Seed of Unease is the 39th main mission in Crimson Desert, found in the Hernand region at Reedfield Graves. To start, you must have finished the previous main quest, Nonhuman. The quest description states: "If the Reed Devil escapes, it would put your Greymane comrades at grave risk. Hunt him down." There are no rewards for completing this mission.

The objectives for this quest are:

1. Track the Devil of the Reed Field
2. Examine the altar

After the cutscene in the hut, you will need to use your lantern (L1 / LB) to follow a yellow line towards the canyon south-west of the hut. When you reach the canyon road, the Reed Devil will appear with other enemies. Damage the Reed Devil until he disappears, then continue following the linear canyon path. You can use the lantern again to keep track of the yellow line. More enemies will spawn along the path, but you can run past them and focus on the Reed Devil when he reappears. Remember to heal yourself ( ) with food if needed, as he is quite strong. The final location for the Reed Devil is in a large open field to the south after exiting the canyon.

Once you reach the altar, inspect the small straw figure on it using Triangle / Y / E. This action will complete the Seed of Unease mission in Crimson Desert.
