This section details various explosive items and environmental hazards available in Hitman World of Assassination, useful for eliminations and distractions.

RFID Triggered Explosive — A two-part explosive consisting of a special Coin with an RFID tag and the explosive itself. The target picks up the coin, and the explosive detonates when they get close enough. Available at Santa Fortuna Mastery Level 15.

ICA Proximity Micro Explosive — A small, unnoticeable proximity explosive. Available at Mumbai Mastery Level 10.

ICA Proximity Concussion Device — A non-lethal proximity device that knocks out targets. Available at Whittleton Creek Mastery Level 5.

Miscellaneous Explosives and Hazards

Propane Flask

Small silver canisters that can be picked up and placed near people. Detonated by explosives or by shooting twice with a firearm.

Fire Extinguisher

Red canisters attached to walls. Similar to Propane Flasks but stun instead of kill. Detonate a few seconds after being shot.

Gas Related Devices

Large Tanks

Large canisters that can be made to leak with a Wrench. Explode when exposed to flame or after two shots. Can be used for eliminations or distractions.

Gas Heaters

Outdoor, umbrella-like devices. Can be made to leak with a Wrench or one shot. A second shot at the base detonates them. Kills count as accidents.

Stove

Found in kitchens. Can be made to leak with a Wrench but not by shooting.

Motor Vehicles

Motorcycles

Gasoline can leak by using a Wrench or shooting the gas tank. Shooting the pool of gasoline causes an explosion. Multiple vehicles can be detonated if close together.

Cars

Can leak by shooting the bottom rear or gas cap. Shooting a leaked vehicle can detonate multiple nearby vehicles.

Bag of Gunpowder

Found only in Sapienza for cannons. Can be shot to cause an explosion for kills, distractions, or opening locked doors. Does not cause suspicion when held or placed.
