Turn off the compass to prevent confusion, as north on the minimap (a small radar (your minimap with nearby blips and threats marked) showing your surroundings) is slightly southwest.

Familiarize yourself with the Compound's areas: the Perimeter encircles the farm.

The main Mansion is in the northwest section.

The large Red Barn and Shooting Range are in the north-central part.

The Slurry Pit (or Tar Pit) is the lake in the northeast corner.

The Courtyard, south of the Barn, contains the Garages, East Entrance, Planning Room, and Workshop.

The Training Ground and Demolitions Control are south of the Courtyard, with the Junkyard further south.

Orchard Road runs north-south from the Courtyard to the Main Entrance in the south.

South Road connects Orchard Road to the West Entrance via North Road.

The North Orchard is central, with the Barracks and Southwest Entrance to its south.

The South Orchard is east of the Southwest Entrance.

The Old Orchard is a swampy area at the southwest Perimeter.

The Perimeter is a road encircling the compound.

The Southern Farm Perimeter Starting Point is at the southeast corner.

The Southeast Small Shed is north of this starting point, inside the Perimeter.

The East Entrance, where you can find the Quad Bike, is halfway up the east side of the Perimeter.

The North Entrance is at the north end of the Perimeter, near the Mansion.

The West Entrance and West Bridge are west of the Mansion.

The Southwest Entrance is at the north end of the Old Orchard.

The Main Entrance is west of the Southern Perimeter starting point.
