Recruit Nightwarden Minthara in baldurs gate 3 by finding her in the Goblin Camp and assisting her in the assault on Druid Grove.
Walkthrough
- 1Find Minthara in the Shattered Sanctum within the Goblin Camp, west of Druid Grove.
- 2Pass ability checks (intimidation, nature, deception, or wisdom) at the Goblin Camp entrance to proceed peacefully.
- 3Pass another ability check to enter the Shattered Sanctum. Mention you are there to speak with the Drow.
- 4Locate Minthara northeast of the Shattered Sanctum entrance, near a stone table.
- 5Tell Minthara where the Druid Grove is. Sazza can also tell her if she is present.
- 6Agree to assist Minthara in the assault on Druid Grove. Be aware this choice locks you out of certain future side quests and encounters.
- 7Rest at your camp before proceeding to Druid Grove.
- 8Head to the gates of Druid Grove and use the Gate Winch to open them.
- 9Attack the Tieflings manning the watch, prioritizing Zevlor the Hellrider Exile. Minthara's reinforcements (goblins and spiders) will arrive after one turn of combat.
- 10Proceed to The Hollow and fight the low-level Tiefling enemies. Position ranged/spellcasters on high ground for a +2 attack roll bonus. Conserve spell slots and use cantrips where possible.
- 11Enter the secluded chamber (via the large stone door) and defeat the remaining Tieflings.
- 12Speak with Minthara, who will then command you to go to the Sacred Pool and defeat all the Druids.
- 13The fight against the Druids is the most difficult. Consider taking a rest before this fight if you have expended many spell slots and abilities.
Tips
- Use ranged and spell-wielding characters atop slopes or wooden balconies for the High Ground buff (+2 to attack roll).
- Minthara is a formidable fighter and quite tanky, dealing and taking a lot of damage.
- The Tieflings in the marketplace and secluded chamber are generally low-threat, but the narrow corridor in the chamber can make navigation difficult.
- The Druids are the toughest enemies; a rest before fighting them is highly recommended if low on resources.
