The new epilogue for Baldur's Gate 3 offers players a chance to revisit their journey and see the aftermath of the main events. This guide explains how to access it and what to expect.

Accessing the Epilogue from an Old Save:

You can access the new epilogue using an existing save file, but it must be a save made just before confronting the Elder Brain at the end of the game. Load this save, proceed through the Elder Brain fight as quickly as possible, and the epilogue should trigger. If your latest save is much earlier, you will need to play from that point or wait for a new campaign playthrough.

What Happens in the New Epilogue:

The epilogue serves as a way to say goodbye and to see the fate of main and side characters six months after the events of Baldur's Gate. Unlike the original epilogue, this version is partly playable, allowing you to wander the party camp and interact with surviving companions.

The gathering in the camp is organized by Withers, partly as a thank you for saving the world and partly as a hint towards potential future DLC content.
