How to Get the Warped Headband of Intellect in BG3

Travel west from the Nautiloid crash site to reach the Blighted Village.

Locate a ruined house southwest of the Blighted Village waypoint (a marker on your map you've manually placed as a destination).

Inside, you will find three ogres: Fank, Chock, and their leader, Lump the Enlightened.

To avoid combat, you can attempt a Deception 10 check to convince Lump you are not marked by the cult of the Absolute.

If combat is unavoidable or preferred, search the exterior of the house for a ladder to reach the roof.

Position your party on the intact platforms above the ogres to gain a height advantage.

Initiate combat with a sneak attack, ideally from Astarion or another Rogue, to wound Lump significantly before the ogres can act. An Assassin subclass Rogue may get two sneak attacks.

Focus attacks on Lump, as he is the most dangerous due to his spellcasting abilities, including spells like Blur and Melf’s Acid Arrow.

Be aware that Lump can catch spells due to his unnatural intellect.

Engage Chock and Fank, who have lower stats and may waste turns throwing improvised weapons. They can eventually resort to throwing rocks for 2d6 damage and a potential knockback effect. Consider using the Bane spell to debuff them if needed.

After defeating the ogres, descend and loot Lump the Enlightened to obtain the Warped Headband of Intellect.

Be cautious of a patrolling goblin near the well who may join the fight as you descend.
