Decide Lorroakan or Nightsong in Baldur's Gate 3

This encounter is tied to the Find Nightsong quest. The first step is to find Ramazith’s Tower, where Lorroakan resides. If you've just entered Act 3, head to the Lower City, ideally by following the Murder Mystery quest in the Open Hand Temple. Upon reaching the Lower City at Basilisk Gate, travel southwest to Sorcerous Sundries, which conceals Ramazith’s Tower. The receptionist might be Rolan, who, if you didn't rescue the Tieflings from Moonrise Towers in Act 2, is solely focused on Lorroakan. You can buy equipment from him or inform him you have information on Nightsong, after which he'll direct you upstairs.

At the top of the stairs, Lorroakan’s projection will appear, demanding proof of your knowledge about Nightsong. Four portals will materialize in sequence: white, orange, green, and purple. Plaques beside them describe each portal's meaning. Select the first white portal, as Nightsong is an Immortal Being and a child of a deity. This leads to a scene in Ramazith’s Tower with Lorroakan.

On the second floor, you must choose the correct portal. Select the first white portal on the left to meet Lorroakan.

During the scene, you must inform Lorroakan that Nightsong is female and admit to seeing her. Your next choice is crucial: you can deceive Lorroakan by claiming Nightsong is still trapped in the Shadowfell or was killed there. These options please Nightsong and your party (requiring a DC 15 CHA check for both). Alternatively, you can side with Lorroakan by agreeing to bring Nightsong to him, which will cause your party to disapprove. Regardless of your choice, you'll need to go to camp to inform Nightsong about the contract on her. She will head to confront Lorroakan regardless of your conversation with her. Return to the tower, enter the portal, and after a short wait, Nightsong will appear, triggering a scene.

This is where your choice significantly impacts the outcome. You can either confront Lorroakan, telling him he will die, or ask Aylin (Nightsong) to come quietly, which initiates a fight against either Lorroakan or Nightsong. This choice updates the “Gather Allies” quest, aligning you with either Lorroakan and Ramazith’s Tower, or Nightsong and Isobel.

Luring Lorroakan into a trap and defeating him yields:

Nightsong’s Armor: Generic Plate Armor.

Defeating Lorroakan

This is the more challenging fight. You will face Lorroakan and his four elemental Myrmidons (Krank, Miklaur, and potentially Rolan, depending on your game progression). Lorroakan possesses high resistances and is protected by four siphons, each corresponding to an element represented by the Myrmidons.

Earthen Siphon: Grants immunity to Poison and adds 3-24 Poison damage to Elemental Rebuke.
Tempestuous Siphon: Grants immunity to Lightning and adds 3-24 Lightning damage to Elemental Rebuke.
Aquatic Siphon: Grants immunity to Water and adds 3-24 Water damage to Elemental Rebuke.
Scorching Siphon: Grants immunity to Fire and adds 3-24 Fire damage to Elemental Rebuke.
