Where to Find The Night Orchid in BG3

Alright, so you're looking for that elusive Night Orchid in Baldur's Gate 3, huh? It's a key item for progressing a certain storyline, and thankfully, it's not too hard to find once you know where to look. You'll need to be in Act 2 for this, specifically in the Shadow-Cursed Lands. Once you've arrived in the Shadow-Cursed Lands, your first goal is to reach the Shadowed Battlefield Fast Travel point. If you haven't discovered it yet, just head south from where you first enter the area. Keep going until you're around coordinates X: 39 and Y: 37. That's your landmark.

After you've found and possibly used the Shadowed Battlefield fast travel to reset your position, take a few small steps to the northwest. You'll see a little platform nearby. You'll need to jump onto it. The Night Orchid will be sitting right there on the ground. If you're having trouble spotting it, don't forget you can hold down the button to highlight all the interactable items in the vicinity – it's a lifesaver!

Alternatively, if you head northeast from the Shadowed Battlefield waypoint, you can actually trigger the Hide & Seek side quest, which might lead you to the orchid as well.

Once you've got the Night Orchid in your possession, head back to your camp. When you speak to the relevant NPC, you'll want to select the dialogue options: “Remember when you told me Night Orchids were your favorite flowers?” and then “It just so happens I have one right here.” Doing this will continue the Daughter of Darkness storyline, so it's pretty important!
