The Slayer Form is a powerful transformation primarily encountered in Act 3 of Baldur's Gate 3, most notably when facing Orin the Red in the Temple of Bhaal. Orin transforms into this form, bringing the temple and its inhabitants against your party.

Slayer Form Abilities:

• Slay: A potent weapon attack dealing 6D6+7 damage.
• Let the Slaughter Begin: A roar within 12 meters that marks enemies failing a Constitution save. Their deaths empower the Slayer Form, making it harder to kill.
• Sumptuous Blood Bath: Deals 3D10 Slashing damage. Enemies failing a Constitution save also suffer bleeding for three turns. Those who succeed still take half damage.
• Multiattack: A devastating ability allowing multiple attacks.
• Relentless Lunge: A bonus action costing leap that deals 4d6+7 Bludgeoning damage. Enemies failing a Strength save are knocked Prone for 2 turns. Has a 12-meter range.
• Form HP: 153 HP.

When fighting Orin in her Slayer Form, her Relentless Lunge is a key threat due to its high damage, bonus action cost, and ability to inflict Prone. Combining Lunge with Slay or Sumptuous Blood Bath makes her a formidable opponent. It is recommended to use crowd control abilities like Hold Monster or Mind Blast to incapacitate her and prevent her from moving or using these powerful attacks.

How to Obtain the Slayer Form

The Slayer Form is exclusive to players choosing the Dark Urge origin. If you embrace the Urge, you gain the opportunity to acquire this form in Act 2. This typically involves succumbing to the urge to kill Isobel at the Last Light Inn, which can lead to a significant battle with Shadows. If you resist the urge, a character named Fel may appear, urging you to kill Isobel. If you proceed with killing her, Sceritas will inform you that your lord has a gift, granting you the option to transform into the Slayer Form. This ability is a direct tie-in to the Dark Urge's heritage as a Bhaalspawn.

If you are playing as the Dark Urge and have access to the Slayer Form when fighting Orin, she will not use her Slayer Form. Instead, she will utilize her aggressive Rogue abilities. However, as the Dark Urge, you can easily knock Orin Prone with your Leap skill. A recommended strategy is to attack Orin, then use Leap to damage and potentially knock her Prone. Once Prone, follow up with Sumptuous Blood Bath and another Leap, then continue with regular attacks and Leaps to maintain her Prone status and inflict damage. This fight, when the Dark Urge has the Slayer Form, becomes a duel between two Chosen Bhaalspawns.
