When you head out from Oleg's, make your way south. You'll hit a fork in the road; take the path heading east. You won't travel too far before a little something pops up – a 'random' encounter. This is where you'll meet an old man named Remus. He's a bit of a cryptic character, so just listen to his ramblings for a bit. The important part is that he'll eventually mention your rival, Tartuccio, who's off poking around an Ancient Tomb looking for some artifact. This little chat is what marks the Ancient Tomb on your map and kicks off the quest called A Bitter Rival.

Now, if you're feeling particularly feisty, you can choose to be rude to Remus, and you'll still get the same information, just phrased a bit more vaguely.
