Regongar can be recruited by freeing him and his lover, Octavia, from the Technic League Encampment. He is a Half-Orc Magus (Eldritch Scion) with Chaotic Evil alignment.

Regongar Overview:

Regongar is a hybrid class, combining warrior and mage abilities. While not a master of either, his synergy allows for buffs and versatility. His Charisma is not as high as primary spellcasters, making Octavia more potent for spells like Web. Regongar excels at supplementing other casters and can amplify his combat effectiveness with personal buffs like Shield, Mirror Image, and Blur. He can also use touch-ranged spells as off-hand attacks, adding to his front-line damage output.

He is slow to start, initially acting as a secondary warrior. His spell-buffs offer some protection, but he lacks strong armor early on. At level 7, he gains access to medium armor, significantly improving his survivability. His high Strength and mid-range Base Attack Bonus make him a capable damage dealer, comparable to Jaethal in combat, though he is more vulnerable initially and cannot use a shield without arcane spell failure penalties. Abilities like Arcane Weapon Enhancement and Arcane Accuracy further boost his melee competence.

Regongar's class skills include Athletics, Knowledge (Arcana), Knowledge (World), Persuasion, and Use Magic Device. His high Charisma makes him adept at Persuasion.

Early game, Regongar is a tertiary warrior with respectable damage but low Armor Class. Using the Shield spell helps, but he becomes a decent front-line tank after level 7 when he gains access to better armor and more spell buffs. Enduring his slow start yields a versatile, albeit temperamental, Magus ally.

Regongar can serve as either General or Warden in your kingdom, excelling as General due to his high Strength.
