Walkthrough
  1. 1
On the world map, click the left arrow to proceed towards Oleg Leveton’s Trading Post.
  2. 2
You will encounter three Thylacines. Position your high Armor Class characters to engage while withdrawing vulnerable characters. Focus attacks to defeat them one at a time.
  3. 3
After dispatching the Thylacines, press "R" to bring up the camp outline. Move it to an unobstructed spot (green outline).
  4. 4
Select your party members and click the campfire to move them to camp.
  5. 5
Assign party members to roles: Hunting, Camouflage, and Cooking. Ensure you have enough rations (you start with four, which will be used for this first camp).
  6. 6
Hunting: The assigned hunter makes a [Lore (Nature)] check against the area's DC. Success determines how many rations are returned. Additional characters can be assigned to assist, adding +2 to the skill check.
  7. 7
Camouflage: Make a [Stealth] check against the area's DC. Failure increases the chance of being attacked while resting.
  8. 8
Cooking: Make a [Knowledge (World)] check against the meal's DC (default Hearty Meal is 20). Different meals offer different buffs.
  9. 9
Watch Shifts: Assign characters to Watch shifts to add their Perception scores to oppose enemy Stealth checks if an ambush occurs.
  10. 10
Special Abilities: Characters can use special abilities (e.g., Jaethal summons undead, Amiri buffs her weapons, Linzi buffs camping skill checks) instead of undertaking other tasks.
Tips
  • Save and load frequently to achieve desired outcomes during camping.
  • Assigning a second character to a task adds +2 to the skill check.
  • If a character's Perception modifier is the highest, they add their full Perception score to Watch shifts; otherwise, they add +2.
  • If you are confident in the camouflage check, you may skip Watch shifts.
  • You cannot assign a character to use a special ability and another task simultaneously if they need rest.
  • New meal recipes can be learned by finding or buying them.
