Recruit Irlene by unlocking the Magister advisor. She will ask you to build her a workshop.

Build Irlene’s Magical Rarities Shop in your capital. This costs 30 BP.

Wait for Irlene to smuggle in your first item.

After she delivers an item, speak to her in your capital (western corner) to start the quest "A Simple Favor - Irlene’s Masterpiece".

Irlene's gopher, Ollie, is missing with a shipment. You need to find him and the Chest of Genuine Gemstones. You will gain 180 XP for talking to Irlene.

Travel to the Lake Silverstep Village area. Find Lidika near the southwestern edge of the village. She will tell you Ollie mentioned going to the southern border to grab something from a cleft.

Make your way to the Dragonleaf Gulch area, south of Lake Silverstep Village, along the Runoff Creek. To reach Dragonleaf Gulch from Lake Silverstep Village, travel: West (across Lake Silverstep), South, Southwest (along the Gudrin River), West (along the Gudrin River), West (along the Gudrin River, to the Bridge Over the Gudrin River), South (across the Gudrin River), East (along the Gudrin River), East (along the Gudrin River), East (along the Gudrin River, path veers south), Southeast, then South.

In Dragonleaf Gulch, you will find a pair of Tatzlwyrms feasting on a corpse. Kill them and loot the corpse to obtain the Chest of Genuine Gemstones.

(Optional) Return to Lidika and tell her about Ollie's fate. You have several options: [Lawful Good] costs 1 BP per week; [Neutral Good] gives Lidika 100 gold; [Chaotic Good] gives Lidika the gems but fails the quest; [Let Lidika go] gives her nothing. Giving Lidika 100 gold is suggested as it is cheaper than the BP option.

Return to Irlene in your capital and give her the Chest of Genuine Gemstones. You will gain 180 XP. Irlene will ask you to wait a week.

After the week has passed, return to Irlene. You will gain another 180 XP. She will state a complication and require a Unicorn Horn to complete her task.

You have several options regarding the Unicorn Horn: [Neutral Good] ends the quest; [Neutral] refuses to hunt a unicorn, delaying quest completion until Chapter 5; [Neutral Evil] accepts to hunt down the unicorn.

If you choose [Neutral Evil], head to the Southern Narlmarches and wander until you encounter unicorns. You will not have the option to skip this encounter.

Position your warriors facing south and casters/archers to the north. Buff with _Haste_ and attack the unicorns.

After killing the unicorns, a Hamadryad will appear.
