Complete the Kingdom of the Cleansed quest in pathfinder kingmaker. Learn how to find the cultists and their Sacred Sanctum location.
Walkthrough
- 1After defeating the initial cultists (one of whom transforms into an Owlbear), return to your throne room. Tristian will speak to you about prophets and a savage goddess. Make an alignment choice.
- 2Head to your capital and find Tristian between two houses in the southern part of town. Speak with Amalia, a young cultist, and exhaust her dialogue options to receive an 'Invitation from the Kingdom of the Cleansed'. This reveals the cult's leadership location. Tristian will then speak to you, offering a Chaotic Neutral response option.
- 3Travel to the Sacred Sanctum in the Kamelands. Ensure Tristian is in your party. Follow these directions from the capital: East, Southeast, South, South, South, Southeast.
- 4Upon arrival in the southeastern part of the area, apply buffs. Head northwest to witness a cult sacrament. You will gain 225 XP for witnessing this.
- 5A fight will begin against numerous cultists. Focus on Ruthgert (a 5th-level Cleric with high Armor Class) and other standouts like 6th-level Fighters or Rogues, while dealing with many 1st-3rd level enemies.
- 6After defeating some cultists, others will flee. You can choose to pursue them or let them go. Ruthgert will escape.
- 7After the fight, Tristian will discuss the events. You will have a choice between leaving the fleeing cultists to their fate (Chaotic Good) or hunting them to extinction (Lawful Evil). The former is suggested to appease Tristian and may help during a pivotal event.
Tips
- The initial cultist encounter involves one enemy transforming into an Owlbear. Be prepared for this significantly more powerful foe, especially if you haven't completed 'Troll Trouble'.
- When speaking with Amalia, attacking her triggers a Chaotic Evil alignment choice. Backing down gives a Neutral Good option, and threatening Tristian gives a Neutral Evil option. The Chaotic Good option has no alignment significance.
- Before entering the Sacred Sanctum, consider applying buffs such as 'Mage Armor', 'Shield', 'Shield of Faith', 'Barkskin', 'Stoneskin', 'Mirror Image', and 'Blur'.
- The fight at the Sacred Sanctum involves many weaker enemies. Area-of-effect spells like 'Fireball', summoning with 'Animate Dead', or using 'Haste' can be effective.
- Focus fire on Ruthgert to prevent him from casting spells. Form a defensive line to prevent flanking and protect vulnerable party members.
- 180 XP for learning the cult’s location.
- 225 XP for interrupting the cult sacrament.
